I'll predict $57,995. That's approximately the MSRP for a 2016 Track Package, plus 3% model-year increase.

If that is the case, then this will be a $71600 cad base Shelby with cooling capabilities ! :eyebulge:

Going with $56k. New base model doesn't include the engine oil cooler in the track package, so discounting the package just $500 should be more than enough to cover any annual increase.

No it should. My CDN base model has the oil cooler. The heat exchanger is mounted in the drivers side opening.

Looks like Ford added the oil cooler.

On a side note - it's difficult for me to get to operating temp to actually hit 8200rpm. I can drive almost all day in ambient of 10C and not hit 83C (temp for max RPMs).

Some spirited driving can get me there though ;).

You might have to use the diesel truck trick and put a piece of cardboard on the grill!

Trans and diff coolers are standard now so why not oil cooler. I think the base price will be 53k, the value proposition has to be there since the 1LE is coming and the Mustang GT has no answers to that.

It's fine honestly. I kind of prefer it this way, and as summer approaches I shouldn't have this issue.

This factory oil is so viscous it needs quite a high operating temp for Ford to feel comfortable with the engine spinning so high.

My last Honda could sing to 8200rpm pretty much 3-5 min after start up. Not that I would but the mechanical VTEC lockers pins only required coolant to be 3-4 digital bars (normal runs 8-9) before it would engage.

Vehicle was an '08 civic si with the K20. 0w20 synthetic.

I just don't see this car as a non-R breaking 60k loaded. I know Ford could get that for it, but this is marketed as an affordable car and they did everything to keep the base under 50k, so I don't see the new base exceeding 55k.

If you look at the 2016 TP, it lists engine oil cooler/trans/diff. On the 2017 base, it only lists trans/diff cooler. So they all had an engine oil cooler, but maybe the TP had a heavy duty version. Or Ford figured out the base engine oil cooler was sufficient

This seems likely IMO

All the models have engine coolers from what I've read. My base model has one.

Everything that came on the track pack is now standard for 2017.

Was the base price without any options for a 2015/2016 GT350 not $49,995 which was made up of:

Base Price - $47,795
GG Tax - $1,300
Dest/Dely - $900
Total - $49,995

I will guess that the base price will increase to $49,950 with the GG Tax going to $1,400 and Destination/Delivery going to $950 for a grand total of $52,300 plus any options such as cover, stripes, roof paint etc.

Overall I will guess at a 4.6% increase for the 2017MY with the R model moving up accordingly.
