I want to put it in a 60s Mustang or Falcon convertible. It would be such a good cruzer, maybe even do and IRS swap too.

THIS. I think a 61-62 Ford Falcon/Mercury Comet/Ford Fairlane convertible with this engine/tranny, and an upgraded suspension all around would be a hoot! Those were REALLY light cars - 2400 pounds for the 1962 convertible Falcon. Imagine 300+ HP in something that light... YOWZA!

See Id have a hard time putting it in the Caterham or Ariel because the 2.3 makes its power so low in the rev range. Id think they would be better with a high reving NA motor (like they do now.) The 944 swapis inspired.
