It does not. It hasn’t happened on any other spot. I don’t know if something got on it or if it is some kind of corrosion.

You could post it on Obsessed Garage and ask the folks there. They specialize in detailing paint. If it is cracking, take it dealer

This looks like surface contamination. Usually if it's subsurface contamination it presents itself much faster than 5 years after the car was made (assuming this is your 2016). If it's clear coat failure, it usually doesn't occur in very specific spots. It will be a pattern over a large area panel to panel. I may be wrong, but I think a corrosive contaminant got on the surface - a particularly harsh bird poo, brake fluid, battery acid, etc. I had a similar pattern of specific spot-cracking on my motorcycle where the dealer spilled some brake fluid a while ago. luckily it was mostly under the gas gauge and easily covered up with touch-up paint.

That definitely doesn't look like clear coat damage (hard to tell for sure), however, it seems unlikely.

What it seems to be is some kind of contamination like others have mentioned, or perhaps some tree sap that came down on the car.
Then, as it dried and was exposed to the sun and heat, it cracked, which is why the cracking seems so localized like that.

I see you're in Texas so the sun and heat down there could definitely be enough to make it look like that, as the contamination dries out.

Run your nail over it back and forth, and if it feels raised, it defintely means it's ontop of the clear, as opposed to being the clear itself.

If you don't want to risk damaging the paint, I'd get an opinion at a detailer.

No not serviced recently. There is a pine tree by where I park. It could be sap. The paint is definitely cracked.

Get yourself some WD40.

Spray it liberally on a microfiber and also hit each surface area in your image with a spritz of WD40.. No, WD40 will not harm your clearcoat or paint at all. Rub the areas liberally and see if it comes off. If it does, wash and apply appropriate wax/polish after.

Looks like dried tree sap to me - and over time the tree sap does crack like that when sitting out in the elements.

Sap, we have sap in GA and comes right off with mineral spirits . I call that crazing is most likely a chemical. I'll bet the surface feel rough, does it ?

In acrylic paint pouring, crazing is a term used to describe cracks or lines that appear once the painting has dried. Crazing happens when the top layer of the painting dries faster than the layers underneath which are still wet. There are several reasons why the top layer will dry quicker than the bottom layers.
