Not on a gt350 losing some chassis stiffness, but I like the idea call me crazy. Haha I'm the weirdo that liked the removable hardtop stangs and the t-top GM twins in highschool. Needs some work on the quarter window area. I'd drive it though haha. Like I said call me crazy. That being said, I'm never buying another convertible car, or t-top car, because of my experience with my 01 Vert. Hardtop FTW

sad you say that, because my '16 vert is effing amazing and flawless and the chassis isn't floppy or bendy.

I believe you, it's just a personal thing really, including the upkeep. I've replaced the top already at a semi hefty sum. And it is getting close to needing it again. Even with subframe connectors it is developing squeaks that are just getting worse pulling in to a drive way at an angle. I also have to tighten my top once every couple of years. I know a ton of things have improved chassis stiffness, but I don't know after 15 years if that will hold up. Maybe it will. Just going hardtop next time. Oh also had to replace one of my quarter window motors recently. Just more upkeep that I'd rather spend on mods. I'm happy for you and your purchase. Just probably would go the other way this time.

That looks AWESOME! I'd be worried about it losing a heck of a lot of rigidity though. Corvettes could have the fully removable roof since they have a full frame, but the Mustang hasn't got that luxury. If it had a more traditional T-bar roof setup (ala T-Tops) that could possibly work.

But like I said, that just looks amazing! I'd do it!

But then again, I've always had a thing for T-Tops!

I actually think that's pretty bad ass. I don't see the big deal in losing some chassis stiffening, I'd say 70% of GT350 owners won't ever step tire on a track lol.

Looks just like the Toyota supra I pined over when the Fast and Furious movie first came out... I rather like it.

Check this out! Please let this be real!

I came across this yesterday. I don't know if it's a photo shop or a prototype. If it's the real deal I want this! I hope some one comes up with this aftermarket
