What did you pay for a pre-ordered 2016?

Hey guys. It's official! My order was placed for a 2016 GT Premium PP on June 17th. I am in the system but there is no pulled VIN yet. The wait for the 2016's has been killing me. I was curious what others paid since you are pre-ordering one vs just getting one off the lot. Also, do they build pre orders first before they just start cranking off random builds?

I ordered a Race Red with:

401A

It was 41.8k sticker, paid 38.5k. Hoping I got a decent deal. I don't have x plan or anything like that. Thoughts?

I ordered using x plan, my order is similar except the color accent and my price is about the same. I know the price guide shows a $3k price difference between x plan and non x plan.

Thanks! I just worked 4 dealers against each other and used Internet sales ads across the US to get to my numbers. I just kept haggling till I felt like the deal was appropriate for a pre-ordered. My salesman has been very accommodating.

Prior to adding Navigation after my initial order my OTD price was $39,990. Navigation will bring that up to around $40,500 OTD not including rebates and incentives when I take delivery.

Sounds a bit late, I was hoping mid September? Could there be really that many people already having 2016 orders in? Does production still start beginning of August (my dealer said mid August).

Not just special orders but dealer inventory needs to be built as well. My guess would be mid to late September. Production begins August 3rd the last time I heard.

Oh wow first I've heard of an actual date. I ordered mine May 16th but just heard late August/early September with a priority code 19. Hoping it's not October :frusty:
