There is a 10mm nut on the left side of the car adjacent to the the resonator's location that controls the parking brake cable slack. If you tighten the nut clockwise, it will make the handbrake very tight. If you loosen up the 10mm nut, the handbrake quickly gets very loose and requires many clicks for a good engagement. You need a 10mm deep socket and it takes a while to swing the ratchet because of little room to work.I've always wondered about that. The hand brake lever is VERY tight on mine. How do you do it?
