Went on a 2 hour road trip to pick up some new car furniture. Nearest Stealership with one on the shelf wanted $330 for the GT350 wheel at 'Employee Pricing' :( They wouldn't go any lower, that was their rock bottom price, despite me asking them to price match other Ford Dealerships at $290.

Luckily I found a guy on Craigslist selling this brand new (still in the plastic wrapping) and was willing to price match the cheapest I had found it online ($280 from White Bear Lake Ford) He'd bought it, then decided he wanted a GT350R wheel instead, so put this one up for sale.

I wanted it 'NOW', so jumped in the car and made a trip:

how about a side shot of the Stang?

It was alot of work lol soo I took bumper off and then drilled a small hole through each closed off comb. Then used a die grinder and sanded the enclosed holes till they were all open. Took 4 or 5 hours didn't time myself... Inlet temps at hwy are 3-6 above. Dropped my head temp from 194 to 192 at hwy.

im surprised these ford geeks didnt think of doing that to the grill from the factory... maybe it has something to do with engine bay pressure and lift?

Well, now at least I know why I don't have that lower air dam.

yep, i like how they described the 3 different underbellies. one for improved front lift and lift balance (GT), one for lower coefficient of drag and better fuel economy (4 and 6 cylinder models) and one for high speed front lift, lift balance improvement and brake channels for brake cooling (GTPP)

Got the GT350 red button installed using CJ Pony Parts method. Piece of cake, and I like the look.

I'm not sure which method he used.
Yep. Used CJ Pony Part's install method. Took only a couple of minutes. And I didn't break anything or scratch anything up.

That is why I won't open all those holes. I think Ford put the wide grille on for a styling tie-in with the previous generation.

Otherwise, more air leads to more pressure under the hood. (And not enough vents to release it. I removed my vent blinkers, too.) The radiators aren't wide enough to require all the grille holes.

Like so many other things, you have to look closer to spot little aesthetic things. Which is what we forum members do.

OP, your grille does look great, though.
