What all is entailed with moving the plate?
Drivers side plate has two nuts that hold it in place. Cut the plate in half and reinstall the 5.2 plate in front of the brace and the other behind the brace. Highlight the letters and numbers in silver using a sharpie pen.
Picture below is the passenger side plate. Replaced in same position.

Dealer replaced the exhaust under wty and replaced the damaged diffuser from transport. Installed an AutoBlip as well. Have the Vorshlag Camber plate red jewels awaiting install now.

I'm somewhat interested in this as I often drive my car to work and therefore it's sitting outside all day ... not that this kind of thing happens often but peace of mind.

Which set did you go with? I'd appreciate a link and pictures to see how they look!

Get a lot of questions about the size of the engine. Oh is this the flat plane crank engine ? Just moved the plate in front of the brace. Highlighted the letters and numbers. It does get a lot of questions @ cruise and car shows. So now when I'm off looking @ others cars people will know. You would be surprised @ the number of people who know about this engine.
I have literally never noticed the lettering on these plates.
I had to run out to mine and look.:headbonk:

I think most owners haven't noticed these plates. What the hell was ford thinking. It's a nice surprise. Christmas in July.

I swapped out the clutch spring for the Steeda spring. I don't like it. The pedal no longer returns to the full up position and the pedal is too mushy at the start of its travel. I'm going back to the stock spring. Luckily it's a very quick swap.
I agree with you. I swapped mine also and hated how the pedal never returned to full up and felt mushy. I was wondering if i installed it wrong. I ended up going back to stock and I like it way more.
Interesting to note; did either of you try removing the springs altogether and run no spring?

Curious if the clutch is being worn even in the slightest if the pedal does not fully return to the top? :shrug:

Has anyone had first gear not fully engage (not enough pressure on the shifter, although it felt normal) and had it grind and pop out when you let the clutch out?
