Few days ago I installed a shaftmasters ds. While under there I noticed some wet spots under the differential. Not sure if it's leaking fluid or not or if this is normal?

Looks like either the diff is not venting, or over filled.
Try cleaning it up and see if it comes back.

I've had mine since March and drive it hard. There is no seeping from the 3.55 LSD, probably overfilled.

I'd say the vent isn't working properly since the seepage is at the seals which indicates possible pressure inside the differential.

Ever figure out what that wet spot was? I was under the car today and found that I had this same issue on my PP 3.73's. The leak is only on the sides of the axles tho. Nothing in between the housing.

No, unfortunately I didn't. Traded the GT in so not something I have to worry about anymore.

Axle seals in the differential housing? Photos in post #3 above are leaky axle seals in the diff housing.
