Warning Chime?

Several times over the last few months...when I accelerate from about 30 mph up to highway speeds, a warning chime beeps about 5-6 times.
I checked the tach and I did not come close to redlining. No warning light or message flashes anywhere on the dash. The warning comes equally from all of the speakers.
I have tried to reproduce the warning by accelerating hard from about 30 to 50 mph without success.
The chiming is loud enough to startle both me and my passenger.

Any idea what is causing the chiming?

Sounds like the blind spot detection. If you are merging on to the highway it's probably just telling you not to crash into the car in the next lane.

Nope...totally empty highway...my vert was all alone. This has happened several times and no other vehicles were even close.
