I've been noticing that under engine braking, manual transmission, car in gear no throttle, I get a vibration right at around 2500 rpm. below 2000 its gone and above 2800 it's gone. It happens in every gear, but gets more noticeable in the higher gears.
I took it in to the dealer because it had gotten to the point that I could get it to do it every time, but between the roads being crappy and that they had me try to show them during rush hour they couldn't replicate the problem.
it's not so bad that I can't live with it, I just want to get ahead of it if I can expect it to get worse. the fact that it's rpm specific and not really speed specific tells me its something between the engine and transmission, or possibly some huge resonance with the stock exhaust that just happened to show itself after a year. maybe the dual mass flywheel?
anyone else had a similar issue?
