Vibrant exhaust resonators placement

For those with raspy/ tinny exhaust and installed vibrant small resonators. Where did you weld in. Before or after your mid pipe? Does it matter where placement is to reduce the tinny sound?

After the mid pipe on the curved pipe just before the mufflers.

Yup straight area of pipe between the muffler and mid is where I stuck mine when I did it to my old Corsa setup similar to this pic. The 1794s fit right in there at 12' long and 3" in and out.

I got it done. Made the catless extremes more like a sport sound. No more rasp or tinny noise. It’s a little quieter.

Ya when I first added long tubes to the Xtremes it took on this trumpety tone that I just was not a fan of. The Vibrants cleaned that up and quieted them down a bit. I ultimately cut off the Corsa mufflers and resonators but kept the double x and added AWE Touring rear section. Favorite sounding so far on this build.
