Using Launch Control

I took my completely stock GT to the track and never used launch control. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with using it VS not using it and times to compare? I tried it today and it kind of Feels slower due to the TC still being on but I can tell the car is spinning a lot less. Just wondering if I should start practicing with it instead of all nannies off.

LC usually results in slower times but it does do the intended purpose of getting you off the line in a controlled manner. LC can invoke wheel hop though as it "pulses" the power to ground. Practice with the nannies off to the best of you abilities!
