LPF made a kit for 2011-2014 3.7's, usually made about the same as a procharger kit but they turned the boost up theirs and ran nos and made 700whp on stock bottom end. I called them and they said that the kit should fit 2015+ v6's but the problem was the tuning. I think it is something having to do with our v6's using MAP now.

From my understanding, the bottom end of the cyclones are pretty reliable, even though wouldnt hurt to spend an extra 5k to go fully forged internals from supersix motorsports. Ive dreamed alot about this build.. ~400hp N/A, then can add a turbo and run high(er) boost for ~600hp then e85 :) ... tops off around 800hp. Everything is obviously rough estimates but how awesome would a somewhat reliable 800hp v6 be!??!??

Ford has a 3.5 V6 Twin - turbocharged 600+ HP in the 2016 GT racing in IMSA at 24 hours at Daytona, in February 2016. The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will have the same 3.5 V6 with 700 hp. I think your going to see this engine in a Mustang in the future.

I'm hoping that they add the 3.5 Turbo V6 in the near future. Maybe they didn't do it initially because it would hurt sales of the 2.3? I'm guessing that eventually the 2.3L will be the base, maybe the 365 HP Ecoboost V6 as the midrange and topping with a 5.0 at ~450 HP. If they had the current 365HP Ecoboost V6 in the stang I would have gotten that if it was say, a $3-4k option.

For this car the best option would be a procharger IMO. It is readily available now, I don't think there will be an adaptation of the older turbo kits for this car's ECU.

There was a youtube video of a TTV6 beating a modded GTR. it is a stout engine.

That being said I don't think you can realistically pull 400 n/a hp out of the V6, It would take lots more revs (>8k) so a lightened knife-edged and balanced crank, forged rods, higher compression pistons, cams , valves, headers..... you will have paid more than a V8 at that point and still not keep up with a stock one.

Engines that makes more than 100 Hp/L NA are super rare for these reasons (S2k, some exotics like Ferrari and now the Voodoo) It would cost a hell of alot more than the turbo kit (easily $10k) and you would have to chuck most of it to go turbo.

A good $6-7k turbo kit + good tune and your V6 will be knocking off super cars for around the same money (maybe a bit more than a base) V8.

The Procharger kit and install was quoted for me at $6,150. So you're still under GT money for GT like performance.

That is an awesome price  Please post lots of pics and videos if you get this done. What numbers does the pro-charger make?

I really am tempted but I literally just signed papers for my new house so it's gonna have to wait. You're supposed to be looking at 50-60% increase in HP. So you can easily take a GT. Also the lighter nose helps in handling so you'd be getting a pretty good machine once you're all set up with a nice tune.

Hmm. So it's like 3k less than a GT. Pretty cool. For me it's something to consider when the warranty is expired.

Very curious to see results if anyone decides to go this route.
