you can race me if you want when I get back into town. I'm out of state currently, if you can run to 120 and stay even within 5 cars length I'd be impressed.
I think the eco will take you by 2 cars... easily.

It's not that, I had focus st, 3x fiesta st and 2x 2.7 f150's both tuned e30. I like the ecoboost motors, I just don't like incorrect information spread as you're setting high expectations for someone who may go out and buy an ecoboost mustang thinking it will be easy to get gt killer power. An ecoboost 2.3 on e30 isn't gonna be a 120 mph car more realistically 109 -> 113 mph depending on tune and mods which is still pretty awesome.
hmmm you dont say

I have a bolt-on Adam-tuned-E30 EBM and I like it, it's fun, but don't underestimate the 5.0 cars with just a few bolt-ons. I've ran a best of 12.6 @ 112 with mine in decent air. On the same day my buddy's '15 auto GT premium ran 12.0s at like 117, Lund E85 tune only on drag radials. So a '15 GT with 'pwnall1337's mods should easily run deep into the 11s and trap 122-124 probably. They're nasty. My previous Mustang was a 2012 GT auto. That car went 11.67 at 116 with a Circle D converter and E85 tune. Stock airbox, stock exhaust. It went 11.50s at almost 120 with a CJ manifold.

So yes the bolt-on EBMs can be quick, but the 5.0 cars are pretty nasty with just a couple mods.

Obviously, if you're going to try running with bolt-on 5.0's you'll need to go with a bigger turbo.
The original point here was that an E30 tuned EB can hang with/beat a stock 5.0.
