Good conversation. One of the hardest exercises is the no brake one. Doing it in HPDE in the rain was pretty stressful if you are doing it at a pretty quick pace. Teaches you a ton about car control. I think so long as you are pointing people by there is not an issue, so long as you are not in advanced group but for beginner, intermediate you have such a wide range of speeds anyway you are not going to be too far outside the norm.

I don't necessarily agree it's any more difficult than driving correctly. The real issue is that it's teaching an incorrect approach to track driving.
