I just picked up the new model Indy 500, I'll let you know how they work out. So far so good though. Stiffer than the Pirelli all season that came on my factory wheels but not harsh or noisy. After I put a few miles on them to get them broken in I'll give a proper review. (btw firestone sells them at the same price as tirerack and you don't have to pay shipping) I have them mounted on MRR M350's (275/40/19)

I know on the new version they improved wet handling substantially.

I really liked the look of the newer model Indy 500 Firestone also, aggressive, but looks like decent wear. Also looking for a track/hdpe tire that is above 220 treadwear (for classing reasons).

But I also saw the deal on these Firehawk Wide Ovals in the 285/35/19 size (max width for class is 285) and ordered 8 of them as well!

Now the hunt is really on for a cheap set of 19x10 +35 wheels that actually clear the GTPP brakes.

I don't know what really cheap means to you but the mrr m350s I got from n4sm were a great deal and they're light and well made. Get a price from him and see if they are your budget.

These popped back up today at $95/tire. Too good to resist. Looks like i'm switching to square setup on the 6gr's.

Interesting, my local Firestone was not willing to match Tirerack on the Indy 500's when I just called them. At least for 275/40/19's.

Website says different, sounds like you need to pester a different firestone. Lol don't reserve off my link or you'll end up driving to NJ to pick them up :p . I also told the store that my dealership mounts and balances for $20 and they matched it. $55 a wheel is a joke. My total installed came out to $742

I just got these in 20" at $132. Not expecting much from them in terms of performance but I couldn't say no for the price.
