Time from Plant to Dealer

So, my car is being built Feb 15. How long do you think it will take for the dealer to get it if the Dealer is in Milwaukee, one day drive from the plant. I know that it will need to get pooled with others, but is two weeks reasonable?

Don't listen to Evolvd, his was the exception. Mine was built Dec 10 and delivered Jan 12th. There is no normal. It is at the discretion of fate.:shrug:

Thanks. Just like any other car, there are multiple answers. Wish the had a factory pick up option like I got on my Corvette because that locks the date in.

Depends on if it's going by rail or truck...I'd say 90% of all US made cars shipped to dealers in North America go by rail at least part way, although I've heard that there's an auto rack shortage (those are the tall rail cars used to ship cars in). Rail can be subject to weather delays in winter, as can trucks...rail is preferable, as the car is much better protected from the elements on an enclosed auto rack.

Trucks aren't at the mercy of railroad strikes, though

Whats the usual wait for an order status? I PMed a status request with the info you needed on Feb 1st and a follow up on the 4th but no response to either. Just trying to find out if the order went in as the dealer said. Thanks.
