playing with manual settings on camera trying to learn how to make better photos....

If I can suggest something, having some photography experience - leave the camera in auto mode for now, work on lighting, framing and a location. Trashcans and fence in the background do not work well with a nice car. Just a friendly advice, it will make you pics way better than any camera settings which can get proper exposure in 90% of lighting situations.

Hood scoop, heat extractors and coil covers showed up today.

so just the heat extractors were installed today. I also helped my friend install the spoiler on his BMW, and cheered him on while he swapped starters.

Weather is supposed to rain and then be colder the next few days, so the car will just sit in the driveway without the heat blanket installed while I wait for warmer weather to tackle the hood scoop.

Nervous as heck about it, but the stripes are also due to arrive this week or next, so it won't be "unfinished" for too long.

Still waiting on my spoiler from RPI. getting a little impatient here on that one.

I intended on buying two sets - one to get the badges off of, and another to actually install, so I am paused momentarily until I figure out what to do about the badges.

I was just going to get a set of these to replace the coil cover badges back when I was looking @ doing this.

I was looking at those 5.5" ebay ones because they were a little larger & would cover the hole if I just cut out around the badges (which was plan #1).

If you go on ebay there are other, smaller Roush badges that will fit in where the these fender ones were (cheaper too). Yates has them, BlueOval too.

Can you please tell me where you got your stubby antenna? I have been looking for one all winter!

cut the stock one, smooth out the edges and then rubber coating on the end so it looks OEM.

Hood scoop fitted. I don't know what was up with that crappy Ecoboost Mustang I saw a week ago with poorly fitting panels and hood scoop, because this fits perfectly.

Replacement stripes arrive tomorrow so the scoop and rest of the nose will be properly striped.

The front end of the car is now considered "done" for good.
