I realize something like that every time one of those sales come up.

If you'd just waited... if you'd just held out for an awesome promo...

Such is life. If you'd waited you wouldn't have had the times you did with your Mustang.

I'm currently trying to figure out what would be the best deal for me personally. I should have about $1500 down payment, but don't want to spend more than $300 per month, maybe $320 at most. My budget was $20k, but would a deal like this be pretty much the same as getting a used one around 20-21k? Would prefer to own.

Currently crying because my settlement isn't here yet. I KNEW THEY WOULD BRING IT OUT! Ugh.

No one knows the future.

Also, you might be looking at a car that has the color/option combination you want that might be gone if you wait too long.

Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do.

I saw this too. And now I am bummed. Haha.

edited: Not bummed anymore. I did some math and the amount of difference is something I can live with.

2.25% and owning the car for 21 months and all the smiles, thumbs up, trophies, track days, etc vs. 0% and missing those 21 months.

Nope :)

The 0% for 60 is literally the only reason I traded my MS3 on an ecoboost. Once the trade was figured in and I put $1500 down plus all of the incentives I'm at $120 less than my old car payment and it only works out to 6 months more term.

Hey feel good. With a divorce and assets having to be let go in bankruptcy to settle in 2011 I don't get that luxury. I'm paying 5% which honestly isn't TOO bad considering my last NEW car loan which was 8%. It's going down each year, off the record completely in 2 more years but I don't let that stuff prevent me from enjoying the stuff I love as long as I know I can afford it.

What is your current term? You spread any loan out over enough time and it will lead to a small (relatively speaking) payment.

Regardless, I bet in a lot less than 72 months you will be free and clear of any sort of payment. That's the way I'd look at it.

Ford offers 0% 72 around this time every year to get rid the current year stock I suspect. If you're patient, wait to get this deal but you may not get exactly what you want as you can only choose off the lots. Watch out for some dealers that may low ball on your trade and new car price with the 0%; also, other incentives/offers may not be combined with the 0%.
0% also great for those that are rolling in some $$ from their last car.

I'm happy with my 0%/60.

You could be like me. I bought my GT as my first new car at 24 at the very beginning of 2015 when there were no deals, and my rate kinda sucks. 6 months later Ford offered 0% for 60 months :frusty:

At least I have all the memories of being one of the very first people in my city with the new GT.

0% for 72 months coupled with the money depreciation per year over those 72 months sounds like free money in your pocket. Very tempting...

I laid in bed last night looking at inventory across the whole country... there isn't a single car out there in my brief search before I fell asleep searching that's a 16 with same options as I have now and I'm sure as hell not buying another color.

Very few CO left out there with even just pp.

so this probably won't happen because I gotta have pp, premium, premier trim, and 401a. But most of all I'm attached at the hip to CO. My idea was it would be worth it to find same identical car and just switch all my mods right over.

I got 2.5% for 60 months. I also have half down so end up paying like $1500 more overall than 0%. That's like $1 per day.
