Well, after couple month (not driving too much) the ghosting issue has came back. Last time it happened I removed the screen protector from the screen, I did two updates, and the issue seemed to have gone, but couple days ago I turned the car on and the ghost was touching my screen all around. I can’t drive the car like this because it happens simultaneously. Go back and forward, check and uncheck, open apps, change things in settings. So… nobody has experienced this issue and I was lucky enough to get the silly Sync3?

Explain the screen protector? Like an iphone screen protector? Any chance the primary screen was damaged by the install or uninstall?

nah, that’s a simple thing, just attach it. Also it worked perfect for almost 2 years. I called my dealer and my technician told me those things happen to those systems. I will have to change that….

This same thing is happening to me now. It seems to be getting worse by the day. Apple carplay instantly does it. I think its ghosting a swipping motion.
Anyone have any ideas on a fix?
Thinking of just getting a used one off ebay and seeing if that fixes it.

They replaced my module and days ago it’s back. Not so aggressive as before, but probably matter of time. Have you notice any noise coming from your steering wheels? Probably they have to replace my screen and my steering wheel, something might be stuck from factory. I don’t know…

I noticed the cruise control panel on the left side gets kinda warm.
They also did a battery warranty last year but this issue didnt start until a few months ago and it was only doing it very slightly not enough for me to notice it.
But now this past month its just instant ghost touching.

Im out of warranty so this really sucks

Probably there is your issue, in your steering wheel. Again, they replaced my module and it’s back, but I haven’t driven my car since then too much, so probably it was never fixed. My next try will be the steering wheel.

Only thing is im pretty sure that was happening a long while before.
I wonder if I could just unplug it and see if it fixes it.
Maybe pull the fuse for cruise control if there is one...?
