Had a sunroof on my 03 mazda 3 and loved it. If there was an option on the mustang I would've gotten it, assuming it wasn't of the tacky pop-up type. Not nearly the weight & rigidity penalty of a convertible, and a much cheaper option too.

Got my flamesuit on! :D I used my sunroof a alot in my RX-8. This car will be my daily driver. Genesis Coupe 3.8 Ultimate fits the bill but despite having all the right things the car is a PoS.

I've literally driven everything and the mustang checks all the boxes but sunroof.

A vert = hair in my mouth :( My old WRX I had to stiffen the chasis for me to enjoy driving. So figured a vert would be more squirlly.

My perfect car doesn't exist ; ;

speed3 had no sun roof because of the excuse of "structural integrity"

Mustang has no sun roof because it has a convertible

Ford might say they don't offer it because of the shape of the roof, but the Camaro offers two roof styles - one without a sunroof, and one with. I think the real reason is they (meaning Ford corporate) would rather rape people for $5K extra for a convertible instead of offering them a cheaper $1K sunroof option. I had a sunroof on my '92 GT, nothing on my '02 GT, and finally just caved in and gave them the money for an '07 GT convertible. I still have and love that car and plan on buying again in '18 (keeping my current vert), but if they offering a sunroof now Ford would get another $1K from my checkbook. I doubt that'll happen, but I'll be happy with my '07 for summers, and a new hardtop daily driver.

a 15+ gt makes a genesis coupe and an rx8 a piece of shit, honestly....i mean. it violates them.

I am thankful this car didn't have a sun roof and it was one of the reasons why I chose the mustang.

Performance and Styling > Sun Roof to me. Good luck!

Well, I mean, I'd love the Mustang to weigh about 2500 lbs and have 305's on all four corners, a flat-plane crank, and still cost the same. Life is full of compromises...but which ones can you live with, and what can you live without?

Yeah, I think sunroofs are overrated and useless for the most part.

What I DO want however, is the glass roof back again. Doesnt have to open.

The only use that I have ever found with a sunroof was to let the heat out if it has been sitting in the sun all day. They are a waste of money, but that is just my opinion.:D

If hair in your mouth is your main concern, a wind screen fixes that.

I would have taken a sunroof but I never think about the fact that my Mustang doesn't have one. They mean a lot to some people but I don't care about them.
