So I have a friend that works for Red Line Oil, and he has a new GT Mustang on order and was talking to his dealer and said that someone cut a hole in the fence at Ft Rock and stole 4 GT350's right off the plant grounds.

Anyone hear of this?

"Should be a killer car! The dealer I got my car from has two coming and someone cut a hole in the fence at the Flat Rock plant and stole four GT 350s, one was his...."

Good thing mine hasn't been built yet.

If they get recovered, will ford try to pass them on to the customer?

Im sure it happens. They will front of line 4 more to replace them. I think it only takes 48 hours to build a Mustang- IDK about the GT350 specifically though.

Seems like they'd stick out like a sore thumb. What good are those cars aside from stripping parts and selling them maybe? But really, I trust basically nothing I hear from dealers.

Race Car. Never needs to be registered. Not going to get pulled over. No one is going to ask if the VIN plate is covered or missing.

When they are done racing it strip it and dump it somewhere.

Haven't heard anything about this. Doubt it happened. If anything living hear locally, we would have heard about it first.

Who knows....you would be amazed at the stuff I have heard from the UPS drivers that come to work during the day for pick up. I know both the FedEx guy and the UPS guy said they have cops going through doing busts at least a few times a month catching people stealing packages. That never makes the news either

If true they will definitely be going over seas, Will be way too hot and recognizable to ever be sold in the US and lack of availability overseas will command a huge premium.
My guess would be Eastern Europe/Russia or Dubai/Qatar the stolen exotic car market is red hot there and they don't bother with vin checks on international databases.

My sources say there have been multiple GT350's stolen from the holding lots at FRAP...

The night before my car was loaded on a truck, several F150's and Mustangs were stolen from the rail yard in ATL.

It happens all the time. At our local dealer a few years ago they came in broad daylight and drove off the lot with 4 fully loaded F250's I'm sure they made it overseas as well as any 4x4 brings a premium as well. I didn't realize that until recently all F250 350 450 etc. weren't available with chipped keys. So they were extremely easy to steal. You'd think they'd chip a $65k+ 250 over a 150 but or some reason they didn't.
