Stock exhaust disposal?

What do you guys do with your stock exhaust systems when you put on your aftermarket systems? Do you just hang on to it somewhere in your garage, sell it, or scrap it? Is it worth any money? I suppose it is a good idea to keep it in case you want to switch back, but I hate the thought of cluttering up my garage with it. Thanks!

P.S. I did a search first, and couldn't find anything on this topic. Hopefully it's not a repost :shrug:

I scrapped mine, no sense of keeping it and taking up room knowing I will never go back to stock after hearing my new exhaust. Just my 2 cents

I'm sure you could take it to a metal recycling place. I stuck mine in the shed. I always keep stock parts for when I trade in later on. Aftermarket parts are generally worth 0 towards trade in. At least you can make some money back later by selling the aftermarket stuff. If anything, cut it in half for easier storage. You could either get it welded later or throw clamps on the joint. Another option to get it off of the ground would be to get some heavy duty hooks from Home Depot and hang it on the wall out of the way. Maybe throw a couple Mustang posters on it for decoration :ford:

If you were closer, I'd take it off your hands! I am looking for another one because I want to preserve the stock configuration without cutting it. I am looking at an axleback. I am parts hoarder though
