Hey guys, hoping someone can help out.
I've installed several GT350 steering wheels, helped a mate out last night with his. Everything went fine, did nothing differently compared to the others I've done. Everything clipped in, steering column in the same position it was when I pulled the old wheel off. Battery was disconnected
However, now when he selects reverse (manual), the reverse light does not come on, and the guidelines on sync don't move at all when the wheel is turned. Suggesting the car doesn't know where the steering wheel is pointing
Anyone have any clues? I took the airbag off and checked all the connections, everything was clipped in. Fuse maybe, or is there some sensor in the wheel that somehow activates the reverse light etc?
