The terms "matte", "satin" and "gloss" describe the sheen of the product. "Satin" is not a color, nor is it a shade of black. If something is satin in sheen, it cannot be matte or gloss.Well spotted, is it my eyes but does the satin black on the steeda look matt finish and satin black on the ford is glossy finish? Or are they both same finish wise?
In the pictures that Carlosa_garcia posted...the GT350 Track Pack spoiler is gloss black. The Steeda spoiler on the Ruby Red car, from what I can tell, is a true satin black..meaning that it was painted with a satin black paint, or perhaps painted with a matte black paint but then a satin-based clear coat was used after to help give it the sheen we see in the pics.
Nobody has actually seen the unfinished Steeda spoiler outside of the product images provided by Steeda. This is the one most of us are purchasing. It's been described as being satin black (in sheen and color, respectively)...but never the less it remains an unfinished product.
Sorry didn't mean to go off on a tangent there, just wanted to give info for clarification.
