I'm about to order the Steeda Progressive springs but have one concern.

They say fitment is for both the V6 and V8.

How can the drop be the same on both a V6 and GT? Isn't there a significant weight difference between the V6 and V8 up front? Wouldnt the V6 sit higher because its lighter, or is this negligible?

* Progressive Springs - lowers front 1.125" and rear 1" *

What do you guys think? I would hate to have reverse rake.

I'm with you. Getting mine installed this weekend and I'll snap some pics. Crossing fingers here...

I have the V6 and bought the ones for the Ecoboost as I knew the GT would not be right. I was correct.

Please do, this would help my decision; and I'm sure others as well.

DR - I will go this route once I see bros pictures. Any difference with the perches on the V6 vs EB stuts that you noticed? Or did it sit correctly?

Of course I am making the presumption that you installed these yourself.

Do you mind snapping a few as well of your stance and exact P/N purchased.

Ordered EB spec based on this hypothesis.

Got Steeda Progressives installed last week. going to be swapping them out soon because I want a lower drop. The drop will vary with the same springs on GT, V6 and Eco due to curb weight.

So does anyone know why they'd group the V6 with the GT and not the equal weighted Ecoboost?

My guess is different strut design for the eco not sure tho. I have the GT/V6 Steeda Progressives on my car now, went on no issue.

And you got the advertized 1.125" drop in front?

Just seems odd aall other companies group the V6 ane EB. Also, take for example CJPP spring that drop the GT 1.5" but only 1" on EB. It just seems odd to expect the same drop on the V6 and GT with Steeda.

There is another for member under the name or DR who used the EB Steeda springs, that's why I ordered those. It seems unnatural to use V8 springs, when the EB is weighted similarly. All strut designs are the same, and I hate reverse rake. I was also contemplating KW coils.

To be honest I'm not sure, but with 20 inch wheels it wasn't low enough so I have sportlines coming in this week.
