More so maybe a question for David@Steeda...

Is there any possibility or plan for either 2 piece rotors or a brake upgrade kit for the base GT? It looked like AP Racing/Essex was going to do one but that seems to be fizzling out or a non-starter. I know a few people who have run the Steeda S197 brake kit and really liked it especially since it was properly designed for the car...

Just a thought

1320 Stillen and Baer offer sport rotors and pads for you go check them out or call my buddy got some rotors and pads last week. Also Stoptech should as well. as for a 2 piece rotor get ready to spend big money for little upgrade on the street.

Hey bud, we've definitely started the conversation on this option, although as MustangCollector stated, two-piece rotors are a bit more pricey than one-piece. I'll keep you updated!

Oh I know 2 piece rotors would be more spendy for not a ton of gain..

It just seems, right now, the only way to get a lighter brake system for the base GT is the Aerospace Components drag/ProStreet kit..which isn't exactly ideal for a daily driver. Mind you I know Kelly and RB run the Aerospace kit, but it seems a bit light duty for really spirited driving.

Even something that could shave 15 pounds (total) off the front end would be helpful.

Totally agree, I'm with you - will talk to the team!

I just want some steeda slotted rotors for a non-pp GT. Can we make this happen?

A brake kit to run 15'' rear wheels would be awesome too!
