I lived near Steeda in the 80's & 90's , had friends that were given jobs there, remember seeing Dario at the pompano costco when I worked there and at a few of the local street car scenes. Steeda has been a stand up company and an integral part of the Ford performance movement since.the early Fox body days. Thank you Steeda for doing what you do.

Back in 1991, I was just discovering the Mustang aftermarket. I had an 89 LX 5.0. I bought an issue of MM&FF, which was featuring a Steeda Mustang, a 91 GT with the full Steeda treatment. Gorgeous car, including that cool extended ducktail they used back in the day. Always wanted to build one of those, complete with the ROH 5-spoke wheels. Never quite found the money, but that's still a project I'd think about doing. Very old school now, but still very cool.

I've only had one part failure from Steeda, and it was replaced. I broke it again. I came to the conclusion that it was a Ford defect with the car since they couldn't even keep them from breaking. SN95 rear swaybar. I broke 3, my youngest son broke his but I think my oldest son still has a factory one on his car.
Something about the rear setup in those cars just doesn't like swaybars!

Everything on my S550 has been a very beneficial addition to either ride comfort or making it easier to work on.

This is the STEEDA that I remember! Some of your original customers, Nick Varela (1st supercharged serialized Steeda in 93') and Bill Kniffen were a big influence in my introduction to serious performance.
