Hello; One history occurred a few years ago in other threads. Folks with a particular view point did not like seeing opposing posts to their favored ideology. A number of tactics were used. Some would bait a member into using offensive or restricted language then report so as to get that member restricted in threads or is some cases off the site.
Another was to try to label a post as "misinformation". Happened much during the Covid discussions. A thing which still puzzles me is how or why the mods picked who to back.
A more on point example was to try to get a thread closed by suggesting it skirted too close to the rules. This was what I became suspicious of. You imply such is not your intent so i am pleased to take you at your word.
