I just uploaded a video of the Shelby GT350R as it was being moved around today at the show. Not sure if this is the right section to post this but I thought everyone here would enjoy. It sounded glorious, especially echoing off of the convention center walls: [ame]

Imagine one of these with long tube headers, x-pipe, and a quality catback! It would be insane!

Love it! It sounds somewhat like the FRPP Borla sport catback...at least to me it does.

That was a fortuitous meeting of this vehicle. Excellent.

I heard one pass me by a few months ago in Camo gear during testing right in the middle of Beverly Hills. The sound echoed between the buildings but it sounded INSANE.

great video, thanks again

Very unique sound.

Pure awesome.

Sounds like a beast from Jurassic World or something.

And that paint color is just a dream. And I normally don't even like blue...

I have the unfortunate feeling that any aftermarket exhaust system would only make it sound like crappy raspy noise. I've seen this done on Coyotes with headers and straight pipes and it sounds terrible. AMG 6.3 engines as well sound just horrible with aftermarket exhaust systems. Without having heard it in person and only going off these videos I'd bet the stock system is already the best sounding it's going to get.

To each their own, I happen to love that raspy sound, and can't wait to get my GT350 so I can do a full exhaust and bolt on set-up to get the most out of the 5.2L in NA form

my hunch says that an x-pipe benefit is specific to the cross-plane firing order and that a flat-plane firing order does better with a simple dual exhaust.

anyone know for sure?
