Filled up nicely with steel wool or packed glass or some similar material? Its difficult to tell from just seeing what appears to be shiny strands of something inside a few of the louvers

Honestly I'm not sure, I have never seen one opened. Maybe [MENTION=18139]goingsolo2[/MENTION] could shed some light here?

Correct...packed with SS and ceramic fibers tightly. We engineered it in a way that prevents the internals from breaking apart.

I just installed my Mach xv today. Damn I love this exhaust. I'm so glad I chose Solo. My friend helped install and we both marveled at some of the engineering implemented into this exhaust. From the metal sealing clamps to the ball joint for tip alignment. The tips are big, black and beautiful. And that deep muscle sound is glorious.

Question about the size of the exhaust boxes. Will the big one fit anywhere within the Mustang? Trunk? Across the back seat or diagonal from front to back?

Trying to plan my install at a local shop. Maybe I could have it shipped to my shop instead? Anyone do that?

It will be tough to fit it.
I took all the parts out and put them in my trunk. I had to put the seats down.

The boxes won't fit, but you can take the pipes out, use your pass through, and it will fit in the trunk. The pipe ends all come wrapped.

We can also drop ship it wherever you'd like. That choice is up to you

Thanks on both fronts. Working with my installer now to confirm the Range Rover dealership will allow my parts to drop since one of their guys is doing the work and buying my old setup.

Well the Street Race is an x-pipe by definition (the tail setup is the same for all Solo GT exhausts, the only difference is the midsection - if you missed that ;-) so what you are asking is a Solo axleback with an H-pipe. Yes, there is even a video review of that setup in the very first post...
