We have several owners who have done FI now, and there are a lot of comments that the internals / rods wont hold up to forced induction.
Can anyone confirm our internals and does anyone have any personal knowledge of failures with our or similar engines with same parts? I'm trying to weed out the speculation and get some confirmation as to if we can safely force induce our engines to about 850 rwhp without grenading the engine or significantly reducing its longevity. My preference would be to use a Whipple.
Thanks
