Because they would have to pay someone overtime to pre-install it!  :frusty: :frusty: :frusty: :D

My hands have no more blood in them... Maybe I am just getting older.. but it is.... "fun" to get on.. especially when you get to the "corners" :frusty:

Other than that, this is a top quality piece so far. I am not installing on my car yet, but am "pre-building" it up for quicker install when I hit the dyno for before/after hp numbers. :ninja:

Have fun! If there is a trick other than stabbing your hand with a flat head screwdriver on the corners let me know. :frusty:

you're gonna hate me haha. i literally did it 5 mins. i just held the box against my chest and rocked stripping back in and forth and it went right on.

did yall have this much excess though? i haven't even looked at the instructions but i guess I'll just have to trim it.

Yes i had excess, and used a sharp hobby blade to cut it to an exact fit.

Did you have some length left over? I have about 1.5" overlap and am not cutting it yet.
Make sure its on right, then cut it its useless to keep it.

I used a small hammer and tapped the corners in. I had to trim some off myself.
I had harder time getting the no tune insert in than doing the trim, even using a little oil on it. I'm not looking forward to removing it if I ever decide to time the car

Yes this^ did mine as yesterday without any real problems and they do provide about an inch or so extra to cutoff.
The corners are a bit trickier but not bad at all, mission accomplished without any blood letting.
My problem was dropping my 1/4" ratchet and a clamp, they don't just fall to the floor so off came the tube to reach down to retrieve from the underside panel:headbonk:.
