Going to be doing a baseline maybe tomorrow or maybe during the week of the 25th.

As I understand it, 5th is 1:1?

Thought I've read about some people hitting the speed limiter before redline in 5th? Though I'm guessing that won't be a concern with the 3.73s?

Agreed. Though it shouldn't matter, most shops dyno in the 1:1 gear.

I thought 4th was .86 and 5th was 1.14. Either way, I'd try both if possible.

5TH is 1:1 you may hit speed limiter. 4th will work w/o hitting limiter.

I think in the auto, there is no 1:1 and the numbers look more like what you've said.

This is fine and as long as you always dyno in the same gear after changes/mods then it doesn't really matter. 3.31 and 3.55 owners who don't plan on tuning or removing the top speed limiters should probably dyno in 4th gear.

Hey fog,

Everyone in here has already chimed in with some awesome advise and you are correct, you will want to dyno the car in 5th which is the 1:1.

We dyno all of our 11+ Coyotes in 5th gear and the numbers are comparable across the board.

Hope this helps!

Here is my gtpp dyno
This is what a stock GTPP dyno should have been from day 1. After break in period and 93 octane gas, these cars are putting down more than 390 whp and 350 lb ft. Was the car stock?
