Hey I noticed a lot of people are using film for the tail lights. Is that the better way to go rather than VHT night shade?

The vht always comes out cheap looking IMHO, but the tint looms awful if done wrong. I prefer to thin out some black automotive paint til its see through then paint on layers til you like it.

IMO, it's a matter of deciding if you want something permanent, or something that can be undone should you not like the look or run afoul of local laws.

You may have seen these pics of my Mustang with the Big Worm Graphix's tint, as I posted them in another thread. But if not, here you go. Might help you decide.

I ordered the complete package for all exterior lenses and went with the lightest shade they offer.

Not sure about the percentage. Big Worm has three shades. And I went with the lightest to avoid issues with law enforcement and safety inspections.

You can see the different shades on cars on Big Worm's website. And they might be able to tell you the percentage of each.
