I am biased because I have it but I love that I can run my longtubes into an H pipe into factory AE and still have reasonable cold starts and be very quiet while driving if desired. Or I can wake the dead.

While I don't have a GT, I absolutely love it on the EB. Like said, great for quiet cold starts and cruising on the highway with minimal drone. Want to have fun? Set it to track and let the engine speak. It's like a giggle switch for me lol.
If you don't care about how loud you are, I'd say forgo it. There are also options that allow you to install non-AE onto an AE car and keep codes from being set, if you decide to order it and don't like it.
Agree with this since OP said being quiet at certain times isn't important. If you already have a aftermarket exhaust and you like it, just stick with what you have if you don’t need to be quiet. I was wanting it but at the end of the day, I wouldn’t have utilized it as much as these other people do here.
Yup, has to be built with it unless someone found a way around that. Standard on the HPP. Still quiet at idle compared to the 5.0, but gets louder under load. Can you get active exhausr for the ecoboost? The ecoboost is not that loud
It can be added after the fact, I did it to my GT. Wasn't easy and you have to get lucky with harness and relay/fuse being in place from the factory.Yup, has to be built with it unless someone found a way around that. Standard on the HPP.
