Most of the time I'm shifting between 3,000 and 5,000 RPM. The snow tires will spin even at 60 or 70 mph on dry pavement if you have the throttle pinned and you get the revs too high. I had a few "oh crap" loss of traction moments as I got used to the difference between the 2015 GT I owned previously and the GT350.
I only use 6th above 65 mph and only on relatively flat or downhill roads unless I'm traveling 75 or so. For some reason, when I drive this car it feels very sensitive to lugging and I feel like I'm lugging the engine if I'm below 2,500 rpm and trying to accelerate.
I'm looking forward to being able to reinstall the factory wheels and tires. Hopefully in the next few weeks as we are having a very warm spring. We can get a lot of snow in March, though. Last year even April was bad, so we will see.
