What would cause my right rear tire to wear MUCH faster than the left? Not much tread left, yet the left side is just fine.

Toe is off.
On a rear tire? Don't think i've ever heard of such a thing unless there was damage done at some point? Bought it used so not sure if i should take into the dealer to have it looked at. Seems odd..

Mine is doing it too.
Tread depth from outside to inside of tire:
Drivers side .146 .159 .217
Passengers side .081 .112 .185

NO burnouts.
9950 miles

That's almost a loss of 5000 miles of tread between the two.

I didn't measure them but the wear is crazy compared to the driver side. Hardly any tread left. I have to set up an appointment with the dealer to get it looked at.

Get those bets ready. I'm going in this afternoon to have the dealer look at it.

I've got $60 on excess negative camber combined with toe also being off.
LMAO well I mean my other car ( JDM ride) I run -4.5 upfront and -3.5 on the rear Stretched tires, aggressive fitment and I still rail the canyons with the damn thing.

DO I go through tires more then the average guy yes, but camber doesnt do all the damage Toe is the big factor.

But I up your bet of $60 to $70 sir.

Alrighty then. The results are in.

Nothing's wrong with alignment. Everything is in spec.

They told me the right side is the drive side so it will wear faster. I asked about the higher wear on the outside edge and they said, 'Normal for the tire'. Told me I could put a few more PSI in the tires and that may help.

Here are the alignment numbers:

Front
Camber L -1.4 R -1.2
Caster L 7.1 R 6.7
Toe L -.06 R 0.00

Rear
Camber L -1.7 R -1.6
Toe L .12 R .13

Though that is "in spec" still seems like excessive toe out. I always heard slight toe in -.05 on a rwd car. Hopefully more suspension guys will chime in.

I have this same issue. Dealership will check alignment on Monday.

16,200 miles
0 burnouts
0 rotations

32 psi all around

I'm thinking this might be a power to the wheels thing, but I want my alignment checked before I drop $1,200 on a set of Michelin A/S 3+ tires.
