Did some cosmetic stuff this weekend.

Painted calipers gloss black using G2 paint

Also, I bought a set of the smaller lugs from CJPP a little while back, but when I put them on I noticed the silver rings around were the old lugs sat showed and I thought it looked crappy.

Silver ring around lug hole

So I used the caliper paint to make them black
Front

Rear

Black wheels, black lugs and black calipers. Fits a magnetic car so well :)

Looks great. I'm thinking about painting my calipers as well. Do you feel like the stock finish will corrode badly in a Michigan winter?

Not sure how bad it will be but i can see unpainted getting some corrosion. Same as Chicago winters, so i wanted to paint them not instead of having to do a deep cleaning once they are truly beaten up by the road salt and crap

Decided to test out a Woodbine Motorsports catless downpipe...doesn't sound bad paired with a Magnaflow Street Catback....will see how bad drone is before I decide if I am going to keep it.

badass, I've been waiting to hear the Street mated up to a downpipe, doesn't sound too much louder.

It's not a huge change until you go wide open throttle...then it is more, as my friend said, Mitshubishi EVO sounding. It's loud at wide open and even during normal acceleration you do get more cabin noise but so far it isn't something that is a deal killer for me. Will report back though once I get 500+ miles on it to make sure it is not very annoying.

Well new tires and wheels did well today. Very happy with were I placed considering experience level versus all the other guys in my group. I took 10th out of 24 and most of the guys above me are 5-8 year veterans of autox and this is my 2nd season. Good day overall today

Those rims look nice. May I ask why did you choose 18" rather than 19"?

I'm considering Steeda sway bar and Cobb tuner too. Is it worth to install a tuner without intake/exhaust modified?

Since those wheels are for track only I bought 18" since they are lighter and tires are cheaper

You do not need a intake or exhaust for the tune. You will see huge gains as soon as you flash the tune so go ahead and get the tune you will be VERY happy you did! Next item would be an intercooler then intake then exhaust.
