How do you guys think this would look?

Aftermarket, flat-black stripes on a Race Red 'R'? No white pin striping, just solid black:

Much cleaner for sure. Personally I don't like white pinstripe. Specially on blue cars, looks hella weird imo.

And now here are my favorite pics of my RR so far.

This is the first Race Red I've seen in person, and honestly I've never been a fan of red cars. I've had a red sport bike before but never a red car. In fact I really wanted a blue GT350. I bought this one because I considered it to be a good deal, local-ish, close to MSRP, 100k 6yr Ford ESP for $1475, and the dealer was great to work with.

I bought the car with the intention of wrapping it using the 3M blue Schmee150 on YouTube used on a few of his past vehicles. However, it's grown on me and I really like the color now!

This is the first time I saw the car in person:

Found a 458 near where I work:

Posed with some horses:

Various other pics over the past month and first 1000 miles:

A couple videos I made so far with my RR featured and Toodles RRR making some noise at the 7th Annual Shelby Car Show here in Dallas:

Epiphany,

Where's your rear badge?

In a box somewhere.

Don't get me wrong - I love the minimalist badging on this car. The badges are extremely tasteful and very well done, especially in the context of other recent Shelby vehicles where the name is plastered everywhere you look. I've studied them about as closely as you can. A couple of renderings I did...

In the case of the rear badge, meh. People that don't know what the car is from behind will wonder what it is and remember the car if they liked it - without influence from any name or number. Again, I do like the badges and their updated snake. I just happen to like a simple, clean rear, even more.
