Anyone here actually driven an R and a non R ? How big is the difference between them. I mean the cars are so close in spec. Is it really that noticable when on the track ? How about daily driving or just crusing around town. Is there a really noticeable difference ?

Treynor has both. He weighed in on this over on SVTP. I am paraphrasing.....

GT350 for street use. Much more compliant and comfortable and could be daily driven. Great bang for the buck.

R was not good for a street car. Too stiff and noisy for everyday driving, but bad ass for a track toy and occasional street use

Just like Randy Pobst said not to drive the R on the track if you want to enjoy the non-r. I'll just avoid driving the non-r on the street and will enjoy the R just fine :)
