Combination of cost to produce (supposedly not easy and only one company came through), limited availability, limited need, and probably a little bit of purpose to avoids clones.

The link didn't go straight to it. Was that the ones that say hinged? If so, they may actually be the convertible ones. The final parts listings haven't come out yet.

I've seen it spoke about elsewhere, but it sure is funny how they call it "Hinged"!
That must be some "I Spy" secret stuff???
