The button is cute, like the pony puddle light. No big deal anyway, just there to impress your friends if you are into that.
As far as heart rate, any fitness tracker can do that. Fitbit etc has apps that monitor and keep that data.

Does anyone else think that looks gimmicky, tacky, and annoying?
Nope...I think its kinda cool to be honest, and want to see the built-as data once they hit the street to see if I can get the same from my '16

Really. Ford could lighten the car, or brighten the dull, dim tri-bar DRL LED's instead of this gimmick. Or, 465 hp on "91 octane", not the rediculous 93 or higher fuel. Just remember, if anyone buys a Ford performance vehicle and all you have 91 octane, deduct 10-12 hp and tq from the "Advertised" power ratings... And, the lower the octane, continue to deduct the same amount of hp/tq, all the way down to 87 octane. Oh i The mustang has the dullest, dimmest DRL LED's or any car, since the design came out with the double horizontal bar DRL LED's. That explains why all the pics of the mustang with its DRL's on, is in darkness or 50% less light.

LOL good one.
They have suits that do that I believe. Watch the Subaru run on Isle of Man from last year. It's a cool hud they have that display all of those readings from the driver.

holy crap, i think my heart rate just watching this was higher than the drivers. Amazing what a great driver and a well tuned car can do. Awesome!

Dodge has always had better performance car advertising than Ford. Ford is pandering to metro hipsters and millenial hacks who like crap like adorable puddle lights and a 'heartbeat.' Just go look at every single official photo of the 2018 Mustang. There is not a track, strip, garage, alcohol bar, loose fitting guy pants, or clearly-hetero man in any of the photos. The car is only photographed in movement in maybe one or two images. The rest are all of it being used as an accessory in the local downtown music/art district.

Its cool and nice looking but not something worth the ass pain of retrofitting or buying a new one. Magneride, revised 5.0, and digital gauge cluster is worth updating...that face utterly ruins it for me.

Just do a 15-17 fascia swap. I am sure someone would do a trade.

Sure, let's compare the top of the lineup car that will likely cost 2 Mustangs, if you can even get one based on build numbers, to the every Joe one

Meanwhile at Ford, cars are made that are not bloated 4000+ pound boats and that do more than a straight line like the 350/350R and upcoming GT500
