So there are two schools of thought it seems when it comes to the 5.0's...
3"=More is better
2.5"=It doesn't need more
I keep hearing mixed reports about what is ideal. It seems most aftermarket companies go with 3" (MBRP, Corsa etc) while Ford Racing went from 3" on the last series (2011-2014) down to 2.5" this year..
Some say the 3" exhaust is too big for the motor, and you'll actually loose power instead of gaining it, and 2.5" is the perfect size unless yo're going FI.
Then again others seem to go with 3" is best...
What's the straight answer for a NA car?
