Prayers go out to Justin 'Big Chief' Shearer

Thoughts and prayers need to go out to Justin Shearer aka 'Big Chief' and family from street outlaws after he suffered a near fatal crash on November 14th while racing Brian 'Chucky' Davis for a tv episode. He reported that he had broken his collar bone, bruised both lungs, and crushed two vertebrae. He's lucky to be alive and that should go to show all of us on here that there is a time and place for everything and no matter how safe we think we are something can always happen. If it wasn't for the safety equipment and roll cage he more than likely wouldn't be here today. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers and I'm sure they would love all the support that they can get if you wanted to reach out to them. Stay safe guys!!!

Near fatal? Little dramatic but a nasty crash regardless. 6 second NHRA certified cage did exactly what it was supposed to do and Justin climbed out of the crow and walked to the ambulance. Discovery is keeping the video offline but this podcast with Chief, Shawn, and Lutz was pretty good. Goes into details on just how violent the crash was along with some hilarious other topics only men enjoy.

There actually is one video on YouTube from a cell phone on the starting line but as soon as the wreck starts to happen the phone was pointed at the ground and you can't see anything. I'm not sure how to attach a link or I would, just search big chief crash on YouTube and it's one of the first videos that comes up.
