Im at 1400 miles over the past 4 months, my computer says I have 11 mpg. I have yet to burn any tires, and I rarely red line. I dont feel like I drive it hard at all. It just doesn't have any freeway miles at all yet except short 1-5 mile trips.[/QUOTE

I always got my best mpg shifting at 2,000 rpm. Which I don't really do anymore since I've now owned the car year and really love the sound of the catbacks at 4,000 rpm.

MPG vs fun... :headbang:

I'm in Germany, even with 3.31's and 93 octane I get maybe 20mpg on the autobahn. That's also going 100-110mph constantly.

Worst tank for me was 19.2 and the best was 20.6. All hand calculated on GTPP Premium.

Sweet App! I'm downloading it ASAP - been tracking mpg with paper & pen until now. Oh, and I only get 15-16 mpg with 93 octane in mixed suburban driving.
:ford:

I use the app for all three of our cars. I use it for repairs and service reminders. It's a very good way to keep track of the money spent on each car.

14.7 mpg lifetime over 8500 miles. Apparently I have a bit of a lead foot.

Not your fault

It's not because your foot is made of lead. It's because you have the "root cause" of speeding...redline seats and Corsa Extremes.:eyebulge That combination makes one speed...your seeing "RED" and your hearing "THUNDER" :headbang: You just can't help but speed.:paddle:

Not one person stated if they were running their Air Conditioning or not. I find that A/C routinely steals about 1.5 mpg on both of my vehicles.

That is very accurate ...

( In my case, to get that stated- actual- 38MPG, I would say I had NO A/C, and was definitely NOT jack-rabbiting. In other words, I nursed it somewhat by watching my driving....
BUT, still ! )

You definitely can get better mileage in a GT.

No question that driving style makes a big difference in MPGs.

My last Mustang, a Coyote 5.0 2012 GT, with only 1K miles
(not even broken in yet) recorded a legit 30MPGs on a straight 45 mile flat highway run at about 60 mph.

As I left Rte 6 South from Plymouth MA to Cape Cod, I stopped at the ramp's end, and shot this photo ! (It was slightly higher before I got off the highway by another few tenths)...

NO A/C, NO jack rabbit, and keeping it real- NO BS either:
