Can anyone verify if these are indeed PP arms. Supposed to be M-3075-F Ford performance kit. When I cross the part numbers everything says for "non-performance pack"

Thanks.

Non-pp arms do not have the brake cooling vanes on them like the ones you posted photos of

I thought they were supposed to have a spherical bearing.

When I cross the part numbers it comes up as non PP.

So I'm confused, which is normal. LOL

This is the description from Ford Performance website.

  • Original equipment on 2015-2019 Mustang GT Performance Package
  • The Rearward Performance Pack Front Control Arms are forged steel and contain a spherical bearing mount versus the tubular weldment and rubber bushing found on base Mustangs
  • The Forward Performance Pack Front Control Arms are forged steel and contain an air deflector to aid in brake cooling
  • Includes right and left forward and rearward front Performance Pack control arms and all installation hardware

Photos taken from the VIN parts of a 21 GT in the parts catalog. Unless there’s an error somewhere (possible) these numbers should match up

Thanks for the info. I looked a bit closer and the rear arms MIGHT be a bearing with a dust boot, but I don't think so.

At least I know I got the parts I am supposed to have.
Thanks again.

If you want sphericals in the front arms you gotta do it yourself. I just put J&M in mine the other day. I recommend sourcing the pressing pieces and shop press before purchasing because these are large bearings.

I think so ... they are bearings with dust boots. The fronts are standard.
GTP is right, and Optimum Performance is making a good point.

Those are Ford engineering numbers, not service numbers. Those are PP arms, only spherical joint is in the rear mounted arm. If you want spherical forward arms we have been doing this for the past 6 years and can't recommend the improvement in driving dynamics enough.

Do these introduce any NVH over stock?

I have a 20K press at work.
Does it matter what side you press them in?
Any tips on pressing out the stock ones? Will putting the press on the center round part be the spot to press it out off?

Thanks

Maybe some? You can feel the road much better. I prefer it over the mush from the stock bushings.

OK just to close this out.

The problem is the FRPP ball joints have a small lip that is supposed to seat on the bottom of the steering knuckle. On my car the lip got pulled into the knuckle so the ball joint was binding when torqued. I had the same problem when I bought a used knuckle.

I found a set of arms with a wide lip on the ball joint, A-Premium I think is the brand, anyway that fixed my problem.

Thanks for the update.

Also I didn't know these even existed, and ordered them to go along with my track handling kit.
