Performance Mustangs - Houston?

Does anyone know what happened to Performance Mustangs in Houston, just north of the city on I-45? I never visited the place but every time I drive that way I miss seeing some of the cool cars they would have.

Amazing what a google search does...I guess they moved to cypress. I bet the property taxes were getting high for them!

Property taxes in Texas are lame. I pay more than twice as much for my property taxes here in Texas than my in-laws pay for their property taxes and home owners insurance combined in Virginia on very similarly valued properties. :frusty:

This can definitely be frustrating, but doesn't Virginia have a state income tax as well? I pay quite a bit in property taxes, but in the grand scheme of things its a lot cheaper than if we had a state income tax.

Texas property taxes aren't that bad. I just moved here from Denver. you're property taxes are .5% higher than Denver's, but Denver also has a state income tax as well. On top of that, similar sized homes between the two states are priced dramatically different. We just got done looking at a home here in Cypress priced at 280.000. Back in Denver, a house build with the same materials and size would easily be a 350,000 dollar home or higher, depending on the area.

I moved to Houston 7 1/2 years ago, and I am not looking back! Property taxes are high, but overall cost of living is low!

I hear nothing but bad things about this company. He has been sued countless times. Do your own research, but I know I will be avoiding them.

Dont trust them lol had a car they sold to a customer at the shop I work at was crashed and the customer didnt know. Id avoid them.

Stay away from Performance Mustangs. I have been in Houston for 17 years and heard horror stories about purchasing from them. Had heard stories about cars that had been pieced (welded if they even did that right) together from several different cars to make one full car. A lot of shady business had been done in the past. Maybe they are different now but these are just stories I had heard. I have stopped and looked a few times over the years just to see what they had.
