P1X Headunit not fitting on P1SC bracket

I will try to get pictures in a minute but I'm inside taking a break from the heat. I got a good deal on a P1X head unit so I bought it and went to put it on today. The holes on the P1x (2 larger ones, 4 smaller ones) only line up in one way, and when they do the outlet is pointing toward the driver side wheel well instead of straight down. Hopefully I messed something up but when I put the P1SC head unit next to the P1X head unit, there definitely looked to be a difference that would make the outlet point in that direction. What in the world do I do?

Sounds like you need to re clock the volute. Loosen the allen head screws that hold it on and you should be able to rotate it to your hearts content.
